Northern eggar moths (Lasiocampa quercus) are found in a variety of habitats, from scrubby sea cliffs to moorlands. Once pupated, the males sport fantastic feathery antennae, with both sexes showing white spots on the brown upper wings. Scanned from a slide taken by CE Palmar in 1981.
